About the Author
Born and raised in Flint, Michigan, I’ve lived in NYC for over half my life. Together with my husband, I’ve raised two children and a multitude of fur creatures in the Big Apple.
Sometimes A Soldier Comes Home is my debut novel. The novel is loosely based on the lives of my beloved grandparents during and just after WWII. My stories, essays and articles have appeared in several small journals, magazines and around the web.
A graduate of Michigan State University, I have worked at many different occupations – too many to list – before realizing writer is the job that suits me best.
When not writing, I enjoy running along the mighty Hudson River, biking on the vast network of rails to trails in the Northeast, reading, cooking and baking, and taking photos of my beloved city.
My last name is pronounced sea-o-sick.
